Andy Lee has recently completed two very complex projects involving eight buildings for me. In addition to meeting the technical requirements,
his excellent communication and people skills allowed him to navigate a very delicate balance with two dozen owners and tenants who were
significantly inconvenienced for a period of months. In addition, he was able to please the building officials of Los Alamos County which
is no small task.
I can easily rank Andy among the top five contractors I have worked with in my 25 year career in real estate development and management. If I had met Andy when I started my career I would have been saved many, many headaches. Pueblo Management Company, John R. Coelho, Managing member
Through good years and bad, Andy demonstrates discipline, fairness and decisiveness in all his affairs. I’ve worked alongside Andy as a member of the board of directors of a local non-profit organization and seen his work in local trade associations, each of which benefitted from his consistent application of ethical values and principled communication. Most importantly, Andy advised me through the difficult maze of decisions to expand my firm’s current facilities. Without Andy’s guidance, I am certain that the end result would have been less productive. In hindsight, I am grateful Andy helped our firm achieve its milestones through that transition. Our investment has, and will continue to pay dividends for many years to come. Roger C. Nagel, CPA, Managing Director, Nagel CPAs, LLC
Andy Lee is highly skilled in project organization and sensitive to the important details. I have worked with him on several venues requiring both and he has excelled. His knowledge and experience in the construction industry and human relations have prepared him well for being an outstanding mentor, trainer and teacher. He is a pro. Don Kimbro, Nuggets of Truth
Associated Builders and Contractors of NM has been enhanced through our relationship with Andy Lee. In my experience, it's easier to get business people to open their checkbooks than to open their hearts. After all, when you have money, it's easy to write a check, be a paper hero, be done. With opening the heart and giving someone a second chance, you don't know if you'll end up the hero or the fool. In (Andy) Lee's case, he has hired more than 60 new employees during the past few years, and has 14 of them with him now, the ones where it worked out for everyone. I asked Lee how he would respond to those people who think he's crazy - after all, an entrepreneur has enough worries without hiring employees with questionable pasts. He answered simply: "It's my nature, it’s about making a difference." Lee's company has done well while making a difference. Corporate Curmudgeon, Dale Dauten, Syndicated Columnist
I am writing to recommend Mr. Andy Lee to you. I first met Andy soon after I founded Escuela Luz del Mundo (ELM), a middle school that served low-income students in Albuquerque’s toughest neighborhood. Andy became involved in ELM from almost the beginning, providing some of the workers from his business to come over to the school and fix and maintain our school facility. Frankly, I could always rely on Andy to help us, and he never requested remuneration. I was so impressed by his passion for community involvement that I asked him to serve on ELM’s School Board. I can attest that he was always extremely professional in our work. Moreover, he worked well with others, was kind in his dealings with the ELM School Board members and the students at the school. He even came on the school’s camping trips to serve and work with low-income urban youth. It takes a special person to volunteer for duty with middle school students! Finally, I would like to add that Andy is a natural leader and has outstanding mentorship skills. I am grateful for the opportunity to have had him work with us at ELM – we are all the better from the experience! Richard S. Kitchen, Professor, Kennedy Endowed Chair of Urban Education, University of Denver
When I was in the ownership/building ownership mode I used Andy Lee as the contractor for all of my TI work. He is outstanding, I had enough confidence in him that I did not bid out jobs. Jack Westman / Commercial client

Thank you for the work you did on our Anytime Fitness Facilities. In philosophy, construction is known as a servile art and is meant to serve man's temporal needs. So construction is an art, and we appreciate the artwork you have done. Steve Kerekes, Owner / Anytime Fitness
The elements of your service I appreciate include your estimating responsiveness, scheduling and completion of the work process and the actual quality of the end product. I wanted to personally thank you for the excellent tenant improvement work you did for me recently. I found you to be very qualified in all aspects. You found ways to accomplish certain tasks that were a lot more efficient and cost effective than the methods we had been using in the past. Thank you for your input. Your level of integrity impressed me very much. As a Property Manager, it is truly a pleasure to work with a Vendor of your caliber. It makes my job a lot easier. Please feel free to use me as a reference in the future. Adelaide C. Tucker, Property Manager / Montgomery Office Group, LTD.
Since 1989 you have been project manager on many of our most successful projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and because of this we are pleased to recommend your firm and yourself. On these projects your abilities were strong in constructing in and around occupied spaces, compliance with institutional and government protocol and your attention to close detail and inspection. David H. Grieves, P.E., Vice President / Chavez-Grieves Consulting Engineers, Inc.
It has been my experience to work with Andy Lee over the last few years on projects throughout the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. He has shown to the Archdiocese an honest hard working nature and a true sense of dedication to organize, conduct and complete a project to the best standards in the industry. John A. Huchmala, Property Manager / Archdiocese of Santa Fe
It was my pleasure to become acquainted with Andy Lee... Andy was the most helpful to me as we worked on designing what would be most beneficial to the school community. He listened to my concerns and made adjustments as necessary. His attitude, ability to work with others, and presence were very impressive. Andy responded to all my concerns and calls in a timely fashion even after the project was completed. I believe Andy Lee to be an asset to any construction project and hope to someday have the opportunity to work together again. Mary McAffee, Principal / Albuquerque Public Schools
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated all you did in making our recent Albuquerque Cargo expansion Project a success. If not for your attention to detail and the cooperation of your staff and sub-contractors, I’m sure the Project would not have gone as well or as smoothly as it did. Your scheduling of activities around our ongoing operations staff and customers was also appreciated and your concern for a clean and safe project did not go unnoticed. Steve Connell, Senior Facilities Project Manager / Southwest Airlines
